About the Kristin Brady Scholarship Fund

The Kristin Brady Memorial Scholarship Fund offers financial assistance for children and youth with financial need, to attend classes or programs offered by/through the Randolph Arts Guild.

Potential applicants should contact our office.

The Kristin Brady Scholarship was created in 2020 in honor of beloved Randolph County Art Teacher, Kristin Dianne Brady.

Born and raised in Randolph County,  Kristen was a 2001 graduate of Southwestern Randolph High School. She received her Graphic Design degree from Guilford Technical Community College and continued her education at Greensboro College, earning her BS in Art Education. Kristin was very passionate about teaching art and was employed as an Art Teacher with Randolph County Schools. She was active in promoting and bringing the arts to her students, and organized an afterschool art club at one of her schools. She felt passionate about teaching art to children and encouraging them to see themselves as artists. She was an artist herself and loved creating her own styles using different art media. Kristin taught art at Seagrove Elementary School, Southmont Elementary School, Archdale Elementary School, Trinity Elementary School, and Trindale Elementary School.

This scholarship helps to keep the spirit of Kristin alive, by helping to advocate for the arts, while exposing our children and youth to culture and bringing out the beauty and artistic creativity in each of them.
