Randolph Arts Guild invites you to celebrate Black History Month with an evening with two local African American artists, Marcus Lowery and Rodney Bennett. The Exhibit opens on Tuesday, February 1st at 5:30pm with a reception honoring the artists.

Marcus Lowery, a native of Asheboro, is an up and coming pencil drawing artist, focusing on portraits. Marcus was featured on Channel 8’s “Roy’s Folks” in August 2021.

Rodney Bennett, is a visual and freelance illustrator, with a BFA in painting and sculptor, from North Carolina Central University. Rodney founded Vision Alive Studios in Asheboro in 2010.

The Exhibit will remain on display throughout the month of February, Wednesdays through Saturdays noon-4:00pm in the Sara Smith Self Gallery.
