A Family Affair
Make Mom a Memory
What better gift to give Mom for Mother's Day than a gift made by your own hands. This two hour workshop will give 6-12 year olds an opportunity to make something for Mom that will be sure to get her seal of approval! Children need to bring a favorite photo of themselves which will become part of the gift.

Home-Schooler Art Classes
continuing through May 2008
Ages 6-10:
Classes are held on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of each month (4-6 pm).

Ages 11-15:
Classes are held on the
2nd & 4th Tuesdays of each month (4-6pm).
Each age group is taught by Gail Dubis (certified K-12 art teacher) from Southwestern Randolph Middle School. Mrs. Dubis focuses on the state standard course of study requirements for these age ranges. Lessons are
developmentally appropriate to these age groups and cover drawing, painting, 3-D art and craft. Call 629-0399 with questions. Prepayment for a full month is needed to reserve your child’s spot in the homeschooler art class series.

Chalk the Walk
(Community Event for All Ages)
Sidewalk art is becoming the rage all across the country. This event can showcase your talents whether you're 3 years old or 93. Bring your sidewalk chalk and come join the fun. Let's color downtown Asheboro and chalk this event up as a great success!
