Jewelry Trunk Show—Featuring Nancy Klepacki-Harding—March 12, 2016—1 to 4 p.m.
The creative genius, Nancy Klepacki-Harding, will be having her first trunk show at Brightside Gallery, 170 Worth Street, Asheboro, NC, on March 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. This event is FREE and open to the public.
An Asheboro native, returning to Randolph County after four decades in the Midwest, Nancy’s interest in jewelry design goes back to her childhood. She’s especially drawn to Medieval and Renaissance styles, especially historical “Memento Mori” as well as 18th and 19th century European mourning pieces. Her other great love affair is with all things North Carolina; another inspiration for her jewelry pieces and charms. She spends hours culling vintage magazines, articles, estate sales and ephemera, looking for long-lost images celebrating the Old North State.
Nancy will also create custom pieces after a consult with a prospective buyer; she’s delighted in bringing her passion to creations of varying designs and is gratified by the warm ‘welcome home’ offered by the town of Asheboro.
