The play, presented as a reading, is an astonishingly detailed history of a man and woman who have a life-long correspondence and obvious affection for one another without being successful as a couple. But then, maybe they are entirely successful. By turn it is filled with humor and with pathos. He, the methodical one, and she, the expressive one, live full lives composed of peaks and valleys. They share their journey with you, the audience.
