RSVP Community Theatre Announces Cast For Getting Sara Married

RSVP Community Theatre, in association with the City of Asheboro, is pleased to announce the cast of Getting Sara Married by Sam Bobrick.  The play will be performed February 26-28 and March 4-6 at the Sunset Theatre in downtown Asheboro.  Tickets will be available at Morings Fine Crafts, 123 Sunset Avenue (336-629-0399) or at the door (cash or check only, please).

This vivacious comedy describes the efforts of Aunt Martha to bring about a wedding between her niece Sara (whether she wants it or not) and a groom who is already engaged. Physical force is required. Bethany Joy Kidd will portray Sara Hastings.  Aunt Martha will be Vicky King.

Sammie Joe Baltes takes the role of Heather Boyd, the maligned fiancé.  Isaac Moody will be Brandon Cates, Aunt Martha’s choice for Sara.  Russ Giles is Noogie Malloy, a very special delivery man. The Chiropractor is Scott Murkin.  Alisa Smith McNeill directs with Jaden Skelly, stage manager.

One reviewer states, “A bright and breezy evening of delightful theatre…It is fun and a great change of pace from the daily news and the rest of the world.”—Jacksonville Review. Another adds, “A night of fun, laughs and lighthearted entertainment, make a date out of it…you’ll be glad you did.”—Pegasus News.
