VENDOR APPLICATION GUIDELINES AND INFORMATION

The Randolph Arts Guild is pleased to announce a Call to Artists for the First Annual RAG Handmade Holiday Art Show!   We are very excited to take on the tradition of this annual extravaganza here in our area and we invite all interested artists to submit a vendor application for participation in the show. The information below contains everything you need to know to apply to be a vendor in our show.

 

This year’s Handmade Holiday Art Show will be held at the Randolph County Senior Adults Association located at 347 West Salisbury Street in downtown Asheboro on Saturday, December 1, 2018, 11am – 4pm.

 

To apply for the RAG Handmade Holiday Art Show, please fill out and submit the online  RAG HANDMADE HOLIDAY VENDOR APPLICATION, submit payment of event fees, and submit one image of your current work.


Event Fees:

•Registration Fee $15

•Booth Fee (6x5’) $65

•You will given a choice of payment options for the event fees ($80 total)  in the application form.

•All fees must be included with the completed application.

•The application fee is nonrefundable. The booth fee will be returned if you are not accepted into the show.

•After the booth fee is paid, accepted applicants are entitled to the following refund of the booth fee upon written notice of cancellation::
    Prior to October 15 by 5:00 pm: 50% refund

After 5:00 pm October 15: No refund

 

Image Submission:

Submit image to RAGHandmadeHoliday@gmail.com.
Make sure your image is a promotional quality closeup of either one large item or a grouping of a couple of small items that will be used to showcase you if you are accepted into the show.
Please name your image as follows: “YourName_RAGHH2018”.

 

The deadline for submission of the application, all fees, and product image is July 31.

Notifications informing all artists of their status in the show will go out August 15.

 

GENERAL INFORMATION: Application does not guarantee acceptance nor does participation in prior Randolph Arts Guild events.  All applications will go through a jury process for consideration in the show. Acceptance into the show is made at the discretion of RAG Handmade Holiday and all decisions are final.  Booths can not be shared, all vendors must submit their own application and fees. All items must be handmade and all applicants must make what they sell. Fan art, sports/team logo items, and character items not created by the artist (such as Disney or other licensed cartoon/movie characters), are not allowed in the show.  Accepted artists should plan to remain on-site for the duration of the show.
