The Philip Shore Honorarium Campaign

As you know, the Randolph Arts Guild (RAG) is “Your window to the arts in Randolph County.”  As an organization, the Guild works tirelessly to ensure that wonderful arts programs such as lectures, workshops, classes, performances, exhibitions, festivals, and conferences are accessible for our community’s citizens.  While these efforts are a labor of love for many individuals, we want to make a special mention of the hard work, dedication, and commitment bestowed upon this organization by Philip Shore.

As many of you know, during Philip’s tenure here as RAG’s Executive Director, he poured his heart and soul into the organization and its programs.  His leadership, talents, and personality helped inspire RAG staff, members, and countless volunteers and patrons to mold the Arts Guild into the organization it is today.  

One doesn’t have to look far to see the fruits of his labor.  For over fifteen years Philip led the organization as it held over 200 art exhibitions and Summer Art Camps and classes for over 3,000 kids. He worked countless fundraisers and events, but perhaps most telling is that over 1.5 million people have attended the Fall Festivals that he coordinated.  One of his greatest attributes is that he led by example, writing, painting, and most notably acting; he participated in, assisted with, or attended every RSVP production since 1995.  

Thus, with all that being said, we at the Randolph Arts Guild are proud to announce the Philip Shore Honorarium Campaign.  During this season of giving, the Randolph Arts Guild will be accepting donations to honor Philip’s years of service and to honor his many contributions to the arts in Randolph County.  He will be notified that a gift has been made in his honor and your gift will be listed in our quarterly newsletter, unless you request otherwise.  Your gift is tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.  Funds from this campaign will go to support the Guild and its arts programming, but most importantly they will honor Philip’s many years of service to the arts in our community.  Thank you for your consideration and support.
