Mondays-Thursdays 9:30-3:00   June 10, 2019- August 1, 2019

Thank you for your interest in summer camp this 2019 year! We are so excited to work with your SUPER HERO’s and give them some wonderful art experiences during this summer session! This year the Randolph Arts Guild will be offering our all new “SUPER SUMMER ART CAMP”!   This years camp, themed “The Super Hero In Me” will  move toward a more defined series of options for students, including music, performing arts, fine arts and exploratory arts.  It is open to students ages 6-14, offering 15 student placements per age group (15 6-8, 15 9-11 and 15 12-14).  Registration will be open from April 12- May 24th, or until all groups are filled. 

If groups are full, students who wish to be placed on our wait list may go to www.randolphartsguild.com/camps and click the link to be on our wait list.
Any registrants who have not paid the balance of the camp fee and tuition by May 24th will be notified and moved to the wait list.

You may register your student by clicking the “REGISTER HERE” link below.  Remember, the registration is not complete until the full payment has been received. You may complete the registration process by clicking the Paypal Link below or by contacting us to pay over the phone/in the gift shop.

Early drop off is available for an extra fee/student.

Free breakfasts and lunches will also be available to all students, though you must sign up for it in advance.  See detailed info on registration form.

We are excited about this years summer camp, and know it will definitely broaden the artistic minds of all, while finding the “Super Hero” within.

Tuition and Material Fee:

Full Program (All Day, 8 weeks, 32 days)= $475/Student
Any 2 Week Program (All Day, 2 weeks)= $190.00/Student
Early Drop off at 8:30am available= $30/student/2 week session OR $100/student/FULL 8 week program

Summer Arts Program Details (all age groups limited to 15 students)

Summer Camp Day Camp: June 10-August 1   9:00am (arrival time)- 1:00pm
  • Japanese Taiko Drumming with Earth Spirit Taiko
    • Earth Spirit Taiko studies the structure and technique of Japanese Taiko drumming. We learn, teach and attempt to create team members dedicated to the art form  of Taiko as an ongoing and evolving tradition. We believe drumming enriches us as members and provides joy and a sense of community to those who hear us.
    • This class mixes the musical elements of rhythm, intonation and dynamics as well as the use of communication of sound to express and work as a group.
  • Music Instrumental Option
    • For those who prefer a musical option, students can choose to also take a music class to learn an instrument (limited instrumental types).
  • Hero Building- P.E.:
    • Moving and having a good time!  Offering a varied amount of options, this class will offer both indoor and outdoor activities
  • Randolph Summer Singers
    • Summer Singers is a new opportunity for youth to sing in smaller chamber groups, working with kids their own age, learning musical technique of singing.
Summer Art Camp: June 10-August 1   1:00pm- 3:00pm (pickup)

Week 1 and 2 June 10-13 and 17-20

  • Painting and Drawing w/ Kate Keith (ages 6-8)
    • Kate guides our younger group in creative and exciting adventures, while using pens, pencils and paint to express our imaginations in telling our SuperHero stories.
  • Drawing Fundamentals w/ Bill Lunsford (ages 9-14)
    • Join professional illustrator Bill Lunsford in creating exciting adventures through the magical art of drawing, and letting our imaginations soar.  

Week 3 and 4 June 24-27 and July 1-3

  • Pottery/Ceramic Handbuilding  (ages 6-8)
    • Our talented potters will lead your young ones through the basics of handbuilding ceramics and pottery and designing useful and decorative creations.
  • Pottery Fundamentals w/ Lisa Simmons (ages 9-14)
    • Join Lisa Simmons from Spinning Wheel Pottery as she teaches to basic fundamentals of both handbuilding and turning pottery, creating useful and decorative pieces.

Week 5 and 6 July 8-11 and 15-18

  • Building Mosaics w/ Kate Keith (ages 6-8)
    • Learn and understand the basic concepts of mosaics while learning to build colorful creations in patterns.
  • Glass Art and Mosaics w/ April Caldwell (ages 9-14)
    • Learn the beginning concepts of Glass Art and Mosaic concepts with stained glass artist April Caldwell.

Week 7 and 8 July 22-25 and July 29-August 1

  • Dance w/ Felix McNeil  (ages 6-14)
    • Whether you are a dancer at heart or a wallflower at heart, Felix’s expertise at getting kids up and moving will bring the group together with choreography that is TV ready.
